Nine Olympic Golds, 25 Medals for Team Italy

Italy won its ninth gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, with Alice D'Amato winning the balance beam and Diana Bacosi and Gabriele Rossetti securing gold in mixed team skeet shooting by defeating Americans Austen Smith and Vincent Hancock 45-44.

Italian gymnast Manila Esposito earned bronze in the balance beam event.

Bacosi and Rossetti previously won individual skeet titles at Rio 2016, with Bacosi also claiming silver at the Tokyo Olympics.

Italy's medal count now stands at 25, including 10 silver and six bronze medals.

In men's volleyball, Italy made a remarkable comeback to defeat Japan 20-25, 23-25, 27-25, 26-26, 17-15, advancing to the semi-finals.
